Co-Ownership

EcoShire is a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) that purchases distressed land, restores them, then manages the spaces for our community.  Owners are are equity shareholders in both the properties and the businesses taking place on them.  EcoShire is an innovative way for community to come together with limited and distributed risk of real land ownership, participate in grass-roots stewardship and gain real benefit for individual contributions.  For the past ten years we have co-owned our 35 acre restoration ranch in Southern California where we learned what works and what doesn't.  Due to local zoning restrictions, the Sage ranch is now limited to owner use only; however, the EcoShire team is now looking to expand our work with the purchase of a "commercial recreation" zoned, distressed former church camp in Northern California where we can be open for business to the public.  EcoShire shares are calculated on the combined land values + profits, then divided by the total number of shares -- shareholders co-own the PBC and its properties.  If you would like to receive our Investor's Handbook or know more about EcoShire, please contact us below.
